Synergym Fitness Center Gym Policies

The purpose of our Gym Policies is to establish the basic regulations essential for the safe and proper operation of the facility, ensuring its maintenance and functionality. Additionally, the policies set behavioral expectations to promote an environment where all members can enjoy uninterrupted exercise and relaxation.

The provisions of Synergym’s Gym Policies are binding for all members present on the premises or using its services. Utilizing Synergym’s services implies the simultaneous acceptance of Gym Policies.

Synergym’s Gym Policies are accessible and available for review at the reception desk for all members using its services.

General Policies

Entering Synergym is allowed only with a valid membership card! The fees for gym services must be paid in advance upon entry. Upon the expiration of memberships, any remaining sessions or funds cannot be carried over to the next membership.

The gym and functional training room is only accessible to individuals aged 14 and above!

All Synergym members are required to complete a registration form at the reception desk once and consent to having their photo taken. By doing so, they accept the terms highlighted in Synergym’s Gym Policies and agree that compliance with these rules will be monitored by the staff.

Synergym maintains a computerized record of its members. The operator reserves the right to deny services to any member who refuses to provide any necessary information, either partially or entirely. The operator uses member data exclusively for own records and will never share it with third parties under any circumstances.

Synergym’s facility and gym equipment may only be used as intended and at the member’s own risk. The operator faces no responsibility for material or other damages occurred during use.

In the event of an accident or injury on Synergym’s premises, please report it immediately to the receptionist or personal trainers. The staff is obligated to document the incident in an official report.

The operator of Synergym has no liability for personal or material damages resulting from non-compliance with the Gym Policies from reckless behavior by members.

The operator of Synergym is not responsible for lost or stolen items or belongings. Members can use complimentary lockers for storing valuables, which can be requested at the reception desk.

Members must hand in any found items at the Synergym reception.

Members of Synergym must not violate any applicable legal regulations.

All Synergym members must adhere to the rules outlined in these Gym Policies, which are automatically accepted upon purchasing passes or memberships.

All members are required to maintain order and cleanliness on the premises. It is a basic expectation to respect other members, behave respectfully, and comply with hygiene regulations. Individuals with infectious diseases are not permitted to enter the gym.

Entry to the gym area is allowed only in appropriate sportswear suitable for the exercises performed. Wearing closed-toe indoor sneakers is mandatory during workouts.

Only drinks in plastic bottles are permitted in the gym area; bringing any other type of beverage or item is strictly prohibited.

For members using the club’s services, the operator provides a locker in gender-separated changing rooms for storing clothing, as well as free services as defined by the operator (e.g., sauna access).

Gym members are financially responsible for their access cards. In case of loss, a replacement card can be purchased for 1.000 HUF.

Members must return all items provided upon entry (e.g., towels, heart rate monitors, gym equipment, etc.) to the reception upon leaving.

Members are financially responsible to the operator for any items issued to them at entry.

Prohibited Activities at Synergym:

Smoking and consuming alcohol.

Engaging in activities outside the scope of Synergym’s services, those that violate laws, or those that offend public decency.

Any activity disturbing others, such as loud noise, unpleasant odors, or other nuisances harmful to Synergym members and the environment.

The use or possession of drugs banned performance-enhancing substances, narcotics, or any harmful materials or objects, as well as carrying in any alcoholic beverages or animals.

Engaging in commercial activities, advertising, propaganda, illegal gambling, distributing flyers, or providing music services without the operator’s prior approval.

Recording audio or video on devices.

Engaging in political activities.

The operator of Synergym reserves the right to host private events on the entire territory or specific areas of the facility, excluding access for the general clientele.

The operator reserves the right to make changes to schedules, classes, and pricing.

Only qualified instructors and trainers, registered with the club's management, are authorized to conduct sports-related activities, hold training sessions or classes on Synergym’s premises.

Opening hours

The gym’s services are only available during opening hours.

Mon-Fri: 06:00 – 23:00
Sat-Sun: 08:00 – 20:00
On public holidays: according to pre-confirmed schedule

Members using Synergym’s services are required to leave the premises no later than the closing time, in accordance with the opening hours.

Locker Room Use

The facility assumes no responsibility for items left in the locker room or lockers. Members are advised to store their valuables in the complimentary storage located next to the reception desk.

Leaving trash in lockers after leaving the facility is strictly prohibited.

Sauna Use

The sauna may only be used at the member’s own risk and in accordance with the general sauna rules.

For hygienic reasons, the sauna may only be used in appropriate attire and a towel.

Essential oils may be used in the sauna, but only in moderation and with consideration for others.

Bringing non-essential items into the sauna is prohibited.

Gym Area Policies

Children under the age of 14 are not permitted in the gym area.

The gym area is allowed to be used only in clean, hygienically appropriate attire suitable for exercising using gym equipment. This includes shoes, tank tops, T-shirts, and sweatpants. It is prohibited to exercise in slippers, sandals, or barefoot. Wearing outside shoes is strictly prohibited. Synergym’s personal trainers, instructors, receptionists, and managers have the right to remind members to wear appropriate sports attire.

Gym equipment and machines may only be used as intended. When using the equipment, members must consider their own health, fitness level, body type, and strength.

For hygiene reasons, towels must be placed on machines when using them. Any faulty machines or equipment must be reported to the reception staff immediately to ensure timely repairs.

After use, members are required to return the equipment to its proper place, reset the machines to their default or start positions.

All equipment, dumbbells and weight plates must be returned to their designated storage areas.

Dropping dumbbells onto the floor is strictly prohibited.

Final Guidelines

In the event of a violation of these Gym Policies or generally accepted standards of behavior, the operator is allowed to issue a warning to the offender. If the behavior persists, the operator reserves the right to request the member or visitor to leave the premises or temporarily or permanently cancel their membership.

In cases beyond the operator’s authority, the operator is allowed to seek assistance from the police or other authorities.

A member who has been banned from the facility for violating the rules cannot make claims against the operator.

The operator reserves the right to amend or add to the Gym Policies at their own discretion.
